A safer Fargo requires both enforcement and prevention. ST Sirleaf will invest in community policing, youth mentorship, and mental health crisis response, while equipping officers with the training and tools to serve with integrity.
Address Homelessness & Expand Affordable Housing
ST Sirleaf will work to end chronic homelessness and ensure housing is treated as a human right. His plan includes expanding transitional housing, improving shelter services, and partnering with nonprofits to increase affordable units citywide.
Fargo’s 12.8% poverty rate is unacceptable. ST Sirleaf will launch targeted anti-poverty initiatives that expand access to affordable housing, childcare, and job training — while strengthening safety nets for families in crisis.
